1. Platform Overview

CamerMarket is an online listing marketplace that connects buyers and sellers across Cameroon. We provide the platform for users to list items for sale and for buyers to discover and contact sellers. CamerMarket does not own, sell, or buy any items listed on the platform.

2. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of items they sell, and all transactions they engage in. Buyers must inspect items before payment. Sellers must accurately describe items and provide truthful information.

3. Transaction Responsibility

At launch, all transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers. CamerMarket does not guarantee product quality, delivery, or payment unless specifically marked as platform-verified in future updates. Users transact at their own risk.

4. Listing Standards

All listings must meet our quality standards. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal items or services
  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Drugs and controlled substances
  • Counterfeit or stolen goods
  • Adult or explicit content
  • Misleading or fraudulent listings
  • Duplicate spam listings

5. Platform Rights

CamerMarket reserves the right to remove any listing that violates our standards, suspend accounts engaged in fraudulent activity, and modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.

6. Verification

Seller verification badges indicate that a seller has completed identity verification steps. However, verification does not guarantee the quality of items or the outcome of transactions. Buyers should always exercise due diligence.

7. Payments

CamerMarket does not process payments between buyers and sellers at launch. Accepted payment methods between users include cash, MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, and bank transfers. Users are advised to follow our safety tips for all transactions.

8. Limitation of Liability

CamerMarket is not liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from transactions between users. We provide the platform as-is and make no warranties regarding the reliability of sellers or the quality of listed items.
